Library Exhibit Features the History of Brunswick Pulp Mill

GP Exhibit Library News

During the month of November, an exhibit featuring the 85-year history of the Georgia-Pacific Brunswick Cellulose mill will be on display at the Brunswick Library. Titled People and Progress: 85 Years of Pulp Production in Brunswick, Georgia, the exhibit and information was compiled from materials in the Brunswick Library’s Georgia-Pacific Collection and the Brunswick News. The complete Georgia-Pacific Collection is housed in the Brunswick Library’s newly renamed Georgia-Pacific Brunswick Cellulose Archives Room in recognition of their support for the library.

In addition to the physical exhibit, the Marshes of Glynn Libraries have also launched a digital exhibit featuring some of the items in the Georgia-Pacific Collection in a timeline format that mirrors the physical exhibit.
