Do you have some old family photos or documents that you would like to preserve or share with others? Curious about some old film in your closet or attic? The Marshes of Glynn Libraries are hosting Community Scan Days in the St. Simons Library Meeting Room to assist you with digital preservation of these keepsakes. Library staff will be available from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the following dates: Nov. 27, Nov. 29, Nov. 30, Dec. 4, and Dec. 6. Since library staff can only work with one person at a time, participants are strongly encouraged to make reservations for a time slot by calling the St. Simons Library at 912-279-3750. Please bring a USB or flash drive to save your digital photos.
The Community Scan Day loaner kit is a program of the Georgia Public Library Service available to public library systems across the state of Georgia.
