Library Service during COVID-19 Closure
The Marshes of Glynn Libraries are switching gears and going digital with programming while the physical buildings are closed to the public through March 31. Check out the libraries’ website and social media pages for storytimes, yoga, and book recommendations available for check out in the libraries’ eBook and eAudiobook collection. Go to www.moglibraries.org for more information, as well as follow the libraries on Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube.
If you don’t have a library card, don’t worry. You can call either library location to sign up for a digital access library card over the phone. Telephone services will be available Monday – Friday from 9:30 AM to 5 PM, and on Saturday from 9:30 AM to 1 PM. The Brunswick Library can be reached at 912-279-3740, and the St. Simons Island Library at 912-279-3750.
Throughout the closure, library staff will be working behind the scenes to clean and disinfect the building and contents as best as possible.
Book drops at both locations will be open, but we ask patrons to please hold material at home for these two weeks. Due dates will be extended, and any fines accrued during this time frame will be waived.
