Summer Reading Program
The Marshes of Glynn Libraries 2018 Summer Reading Program kicks off on May 29, 2018.
This summer, we will again offer summer reading programs for both children and teens. The theme for this year’s programs is Libraries Rock!
Once again for 2018, you will use our Beanstack website (or their brand new app) to log your summer reading and earn rewards. More information on signing up is in our Beanstack User Guide.
The excitement never ends in this fun filled magic show.
Put a little zip in your day with yoga. We will use ribbon wands,
letting our exercise flow with the music. Ages 3—12 and
Dorian Michael, an acoustic guitarist, will take participants on a
musical adventure, exploring the sounds and feel of the
instruments. Ages 6—12
Guitarist Dorian Michael will entertain teens and adults during this eclectic acoustical guitar concert.
The Baby Storytime environment will help parents and caregivers share meaningful developmental time with their babies through books, songs, and rhymes. During the summer the group meets every Friday morning at 10:30am, alternating between our two locations.—Ages: Up to 24 months
Michael is back with a terrific line up of live animals and their
fascinating stories. Ages 3—12
Roy the DJ leads us in a celebrate of summer reading.
Stories, told in song, stir our imaginations and enchant us.
The library has the recorders, so come and join the band.
