Roderrick Davis’ art work is inspired by the music he enjoys. His show will present a series of oil and acrylic paintings depicting love and the pursuit of happiness. Come and meet Roderrick and view his work at the meet and greet on First Friday from 5:30-7:30 pm.
Babies’ brains develop through exposure to language, new sights and sounds, and socialization. The Baby Storytime environment will help parents and caregivers share meaningful developmental time with their babies through books, songs, and rhymes. The group meets on the first and third Friday of each month at the Saint Simons Island Public Library and every Thursday morning at the Brunswick-Glynn County Library. Ages: Up to 24 months
Bring along your cup of coffee and wake up your brain every Friday morning with a game of Scrabble. Can’t make it every week? That is OK; join us when you are able. Scrabble Club is also available on Monday afternoons at 1pm.
April is the month to celebrate poetry, libraries, and our precious Earth and to remember the Holocaust too. A variety of activities highlighting these celebrations and remembrances will take place at the Brunswick-Glynn County Library during First Friday.
