Ms. Rutland has studied both nursing and interior design, but her passion is for painting. She is a local artist who has shown her work both locally and in places like Atlanta and Colorado. Drop by the Brunswick-Glynn County Library to enjoy viewing her paintings.
Babies’ brains develop through exposure to language, new sights and sounds, and socialization. The Baby Storytime environment will help parents and caregivers share meaningful developmental time with their babies through books, songs, and rhymes. The group meets every Thursday morning at the Brunswick-Glynn County Library. Ages: Up to 24 months
Many adults find coloring to be a stress relieving activity. The MOGL libraries offer a time and place for adults to gather and enjoy this relaxing pastime. Supplies will be made available to participants on the first and third Thursdays of the month at our Brunswick location and the second and fourth Wednesdays at our SSI location. The time is the same at both locations, 12:30pm until 2pm. Come and join the fun.
Children are invited to read to our special guests, the dogs of Therapy Dogs International. The library will provide the books and the dogs; you provide the enthusiasm.
This informal class is intended to help those wanting to learn basic conversational English.
Teens are invited to join the library’s YA book group; new participants are always welcome. The group meets on the third Thursday of each month in the YA room at the Brunswick-Glynn County Library. This is an informal class for English speakers who would like to learn Spanish. Both adults and teens are invited to attend.
