MEETING LOCATIONS ALTERNATE BETWEEN BRUNSWICK AND ST. SIMONS – Many adults find coloring to be a stress relieving activity. The MOGL libraries offer a time and place for adults to gather and enjoy this relaxing pastime. Supplies will be made available to participants on the first and third Wednesday of the month at our SSI location and on the second and fourth Thursday of the month at our downtown Brunswick library. The time is the same at both locations, 12:30pm until 2pm. Come and join the fun.
Teens will explore the unique buildings of Glynn County and then produce an illustrated book of these amazing structures. Local artist Sally Gazaway will instruct the club members in watercolor illustration and guide them in the creation of their book. The book will become part of the libraries’ collections. Each club member will be given a copy of the book. An art show of the illustrations will be held at the Brunswick library in August. The camp will be held at the Brunswick-Glynn County Library. Space is limited. Reserve your spot by calling 912-279-3738 before June 1.
Teens are invited to join the library’s YA book group; new participants are always welcome. The group meets on the third Thursday of each month in the YA room at the Brunswick-Glynn County Library. This month’s discussion is on City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. Call the library for future titles.
Kayce Bradberry from the Girl Scouts of America will be our guest reader at a STEM themed storytime. Boys and girls of all ages are invited to participate.
