Library Programs and Events
Small teams work together to build and program robots using the Lego Mindstorm product. The camp ends with a bot battle competition between the teams. Space is limited, registration required. Call (912) 279-3738. Participants in these programs must be rising 6th graders through high school.
Perk up your Mondays with a game of Scrabble. Can’t make it every week? That is OK; join us when you are able. Men and women are welcome. The Casual Scrabblers Club is also available on Friday mornings at the library’s Brunswick location.
Percussionist Alisha is coming to teach us all about the rhythm of
music. Everyone will get to practice their drumming skills.
No experience is necessary to join this drum circle. Percussionist Alisha Ross will teach participants the basic skills so that everyone can feel the power of the drums. No registration required.
Many adults find coloring to be a stress relieving activity. The MOGL libraries offer a time and place for adults to gather and enjoy this relaxing pastime. Supplies will be made available to participants on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at our SSI location and on the first and third Thursday of the month at our downtown Brunswick library. The time is the same at both locations, 12:30pm until 2pm. Come and join the fun.

This is an informal class for English speakers who would like to learn Spanish. Both adults and teens are invited to attend.
The Baby Storytime environment will help parents and
caregivers share meaningful developmental time with
their babies through books, songs, and rhymes. During
the summer the group meets every Friday morning at
10:30am, alternating between our two locations.—
