Library Programs and Events
Ester Deen first started painting at the age of 22; the passion that began then has increased over time. She has worked in pastel and mixed media, but oils are currently her favorite. She enjoys depicting natural beauty and the wonders of the world around her and the inner spirit. This spirit is naturally captured during the process of painting a piece and cannot be taught.
Many adults find coloring to be a stress relieving activity. The MOGL libraries offer a time and place for adults to gather and enjoy this relaxing pastime. Supplies will be made available to participants on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at our SSI location and the second and fourth Thursdays at our downtown Brunswick library. The time is the same at both locations, 12:30pm until 2pm. Come and join the fun.
